I have finally convinced the Fairy to grow her hair out long enough for me to put a ponytail in it. Woo Hooo!!!! It is the cutest length of just barely long enough to pull up and naturally bobs in under the elastic. Pillow Case Dress

When the Fairy was born, my mom gave her a beautiful pillowcase dress made out of a vintage hand embroidered pillowcase. I cherish it and it is one of the "few" baby items of her that I am hanging on to. I love this tutorial by Maya Made that gives instructions on how to make them. I am actually embarrassed to admit that I ran and took the pillowcase off of my own pillow (because it had a lacy edge) and immediately whipped one up. I think that they are so classic looking.

On Sew Mama Sew you will find this great idea! Although I haven't made one of these yet, I plan to when summer comes around. This will ensure that they will stay toasty once they get out of the pool.

I love ruffles and I can not tell you how excited I am that they are in style! I do have a secret wish that I was 5 years old again so that I could wear them all the time and have everyone think that I was absolutely adorable.
